Privacy

This is a portfolio, so I only want to know one thing: whether anyone reads it.

What I can see

• which pages were opened, and which site sent you here
• the city, region and country your connection points to, which Vercel works out
• how far down you got, how long the tab stayed open and which sections you reached
• whether you opened my résumé, a project, my email or an outside link, or sent me a message
• your browser, system, screen size, language and timezone

What I can't see

Your name, unless you write to me. Your IP address, because it is not stored. Whether you have been here before, because each visit is counted on its own and there are no tracking cookies.

Who else is involved

Vercel hosts the site and counts page views, without cookies. It also holds the visit counts and any messages in a private store that only I can open, for about 90 days. Resend carries messages to my inbox. Groq or Google check each message for spam and write the answers to questions in the chat, and this site keeps no copy of those questions.

What your browser keeps

Your light or dark choice, the chat window's size, whether I can count your visits and when you last saw the intro. A random ID for this visit stays in the tab until you close it.

Not being counted

Use the button here and whatever this visit already sent is removed. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted.

Anything else

Email me at dfordebarati@gmail.com with roughly when you visited, and I'll tell you what was recorded or delete it.
